A Surveying Bipod is a device used to support any one of several surveying instruments, such as theodolites, total stations, levels, or transits—a surveyor’s tripod with a shoulder strap. The head of the tripod supports the instrument, while the feet are spiked to anchor the tripod to the ground. Its thumb release feature allows for fast adjustment.
It has a premium polyester-urethane coating for durability. In addition, it includes a protective bumper to allow for a firm lock of the prism pole without damage, with an adjustable head that adapts to pole diameters.
