The Circular Levelling Staff Bubble is an essential surveying accessory designed to maintain absolute plumb alignment during topographical measurements. Featuring a high-visibility, fluid-filled bullseye vial, it easily clips onto or mounts directly to aluminum, fiberglass, or carbon fiber grade rods. This heavy-duty universal level ensures that minor tilting does not distort height data, delivering the consistent accuracy required for optical levels, total stations, and laser receivers.
Featured Elements:
- Universal Snap-On Fit: Adapts securely to standard round and rectangular grading staves.
- High-Contrast Bullseye Vial: Crystal-clear liquid with contrast rings provides fast centering visibility.
- Impact-Resistant Body: Constructed with robust, weather-defying materials optimized for field duty.
- Error Prevention: Eliminates slope errors by ensuring your staff stays perfectly vertical.

The Levelling Staff Button (also known as the Circular Spring Button or the Locking Button) is the small spring-loaded mechanism that locks the telescopic sections of a levelling staff into place. It ensures your telescopic staff stays rigid and accurate. These spring-loaded pins are designed to fit most standard aluminium levelling staffs (3m, 5m, and 7m).
Button Types:
- Round Buttons: Most common on standard 5m aluminium staffs.
- Square/Rectangular Buttons: Often found on heavy-duty or older “E-Pattern” staffs.
- Internal V-Springs: These are the metal clips inside that provide the tension.
